Sheraton opens south Irish spa

Sheraton Fota Island Golf Resort & Spa, Cork is opening its doors on 5 May. For a limited time the hotel is delighted to offer an introductory ‘Discover Fota’ bed and breakfast rate of £115* per room per night. The rate is valid from 5 May to 31 August 2006 only.

The new hotel will appeal to all guest profiles - from the exhausted executive, active family, romantic couples, to the food aficionado, golf addict and spa devotee.

The hotel’s destination spa features 17 state-of-the-art treatment rooms, three beauty rooms, a hydropool, walking river, gymnasium, full size swimming pool and conservatory for post treatment relaxation.

Avid golfers can enjoy the championship standard golf course which promises to challenge the skills of all players. The woodland interwoven course has previously hosted the Irish Open and this June will play host to the AIB Seniors Open. 

The hotel is located on the same island as Ireland’s only Wildlife Park, as well as the historic Fota House, with its famous arboretum gardens, is sure to keep children and parents alike occupied.
