Sabre acquires TRAMS

Sabre Travel Network is acquiring TRAMS, a provider of mid- and back-office solutions and unique marketing services for travel agencies.
The acquisition enables Sabre Travel Network directly to serve the end-to-end needs (front, mid and back-office) of a broad spectrum of travel agencies, including small and mid-sized leisure focused agencies.  It will integrate the TRAMS products with existing and future Sabre solutions, providing even greater capabilities and value to its travel agency customers.

“By aligning with Sabre, TRAMS is aligning with a leader that shares the vision of leveraging technology to help travel agents boost their revenues through enhanced marketing capabilities,” said Lee Rosen, founder and President of TRAMS.  “I see this announcement as taking TRAMS to the next level for the benefit of all of our customers and employees, providing the potential for continued development in technologies that help stimulate demand and streamline agencies processes. ”

“TRAMS has an outstanding reputation in the travel agency community, reflected in its 98 percent renewal rate,” said Richard Adams, Sabre Travel Network’s senior vice president EMEA.  “We believe both TRAMS and the entire TRAMS team are tremendous assets that will further enhance the efficient marketplace we have built together with our customers.  We look forward to serving the needs of all TRAMS customers.”

To assist travel agencies in their efforts to grow revenue, optimise customer management and streamline processes, TRAMS provides the leading back office solution for small to mid-sized agencies, the leading agency customer relationship management (CRM) product, as well as unique agency marketing services.  Over 11,000 agency locations currently use TRAMS solutions.
