Worldspan is announcing a new five-year agreement with its longstanding distributor
partner Stargate Cyber Active. Stargate distributes Worldspan products and
services to agencies in several other
African countries, as well as in the Middle East.

  Under the new agreement, which went into effect January 1, Stargate will
increase the resources and staff supporting Worldspan travel agency customers
in South Africa, and expand Worldspan’s market-wide presence to serve a
broader base of customers.
  “We are applying Stargate’s vast expertise to South Africa, monitoring improvements in broadband access as
the Internet becomes more significant in the market, and placing more
personnel on the ground to help customers adapt and grow,” said David Taylor,
director of EMEAA distributors for Worldspan.

solutions and services they need today, and the forward-looking tools they
need to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving industry,” said Sean Van den
