TIA awarded for Web marketing

The Travel Industry Association of America has been honoured with a Silver Adrian Award for Web Marketing from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International. The award was presented at the 16th annual Adrian Awards Gala in New York on Monday, January 30th.

TIA joined an elite group of winners recognized for Advertising, Public Relations and Web Marketing programs in every segment of the hospitality industry around the world in 2005. TIA’s award was presented for its popular See America consumer travel website located at www.SeeAmerica.org.

The Adrian Awards recognize the best of the best in advertising, public relations and web marketing for the Hospitality and Travel Industry. Now in its 49th year, the competition, sponsored by HSMAI, has evolved into one of the travel industry’s most prestigious and renowned competitions.

“Our team worked tirelessly to redesign the SeeAmerica.org website and the result was a sophisticated, user-friendly consumer travel site that has seen tremendous growth since its new debut early last year,” said Betsy O’Rourke, TIA’s senior vice president of marketing. “It’s an honor to be recognized by a prestigious organization such as HSMAI. The Adrian Awards competition is a way of recognizing the very best of the travel and hospitality industry and we’re thrilled to be a part of the best.”
