bmi expands links to Gulf

bmi services between London Heathrow and Doha, Qatar are now on sale.
The launch of daily flights on 26 March consolidates bmi’s presence in the Gulf region and marks a major step in the expansion of the airline’s long haul network. Fares start at £399 return including taxes.

bmi launched its first flights to the Middle East last September when three times weekly services to the Saudi Arabia capital Riyadh were introduced. The success of the route led to the recent announcement of services to Jeddah, which start in April.

Nigel Turner, bmi chief executive, said: “The addition of Jeddah was an important step following the extremely encouraging start to our Riyadh route. I’m delighted that we’ve been able to add another Middle Eastern destination to our long haul network so soon after the positive results of our Saudi operations and am confident of further success in serving the region.”
