The Bonaire Hotel & Tourism Association (BONHATA) recently
held its elections for the 2006 Board of Directors and elected Mr. Boudewijn “Bous” Scholts from Plaza Resort Bonaire as President.
A hospitality industry veteran with more than ten years experience and an active member of the Bonaire hotel industry, the 44 year old Mr. Scholts has been Director of Sales & Marketing of Plaza Resort Bonaire since 1995.

As a Consultant to Plaza Resort Bonaire’s shareholders, Van der Valk International BV in The Netherlands, Mr. Scholts is also involved in the company’s charter flight operations between Europe and the Dutch Caribbean.
