Air Madrid in marketing drive

Air Madrid is becoming the first new client for Discover the World Marketing in 2006. The carrier has selected Discover for its sales and marketing representation in Mexico outside of Mexico City beginning in January.

“We are contemplating adding more service,” said Rene Weinberg, Air Madrid’s Director of Alliances and Expansion. “So we wanted to increase our sales coverage outside of Mexico City to maximize the revenue opportunity within Mexico. Discover the World Marketing made an excellent fit and we are confident they will help us achieve our goals.”

“We are pleased Air Madrid has selected Discover the World Marketing to help with its ever expanding network from Spain,” said Jenny Adams, CEO of Discover the World Marketing. “Our country director in Mexico, Octovio Hernandez, and his team have an excellent reputation in the marketplace and know how to deliver the desired results.”

Air Madrid began operations from Spain in April 2004 and has expanded its network to include flights from Madrid to 11 destinations in Central and South America plus Tenerife and from Barcelona to four South American destinations and Tenerife.
