Nakheel targets London

Nakheel is showcasing some of its real estate projects at the Dubai Property Show to be held on January 21 - 22, 2006 at the Novotel London West Hotel in Hammersmith.
The Show, organised by DSL Exhibitions, will bring together Dubai’s
property developers and agents for the first time in the British capital.

The UK is the most buoyant European market for Dubai both in terms of tourism
visitor figures, with 650,000 long stay British visitors to Dubai in 2004,
and more than 25% of buyers on Nakheel’s signature development, The Palm
Jumeirah, being British. The event is being supported by the Dubai Chamber
of Commerce and Industry and the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing who
will be running presentations promoting the lifestyle and business opportunities
in Dubai

Nakheel will also be specifically showcasing The Palm Jumeirah,
with a particular focus on The Palm Jumeirah’s 25 luxury hotel brands,
Dubai Waterfront and Jumeirah Golf Estates.

James Wilson, Nakheel Chief Executive said, “?The British market has been
an absolutely key market for Nakheel; our most vibrant market in Europe.
Attracted by exceptional properties in outstanding and unique locations,
the British market has responded very well to what Dubai has to offer -
fine climate and beaches, excellent shopping, a diverse range of cuisines,
and first class leisure facilities, all within a tax free environment.
Dubai’s reputation for providing good value investment opportunities and
a high quality lifestyle is well deserved.  More specifically, iconic and
innovative projects like The Palm - the world’s three largest man-made
islands - capture people’s imagination from all over the world.

“This is why events like the Dubai Property Show are so important to Nakheel
- it gives us a chance to further solidify our presence in the British
market. There are many people internationally who have heard of The Palm
and The World but who want to find out more - and the Dubai Property Show
is a perfect platform to do this.”
