Courier site aimed at travellers

19th Jan 2006

A new Website has been launched—casualcourier.com, which offers a way to send packages—by matching people with baggage to send with travelers who are willing to be couriers. The Website users can now send their packages around the corner or around the world for the price of post, at the speed of overnight, and with the reliability of hand-delivery.

There is also a section on the website where passengers with special needs, including single parents traveling alone with children, can find an “AirSitter”  (like an in-flight babysitter) to provide a helping-hand during their trip.

The Jerusalem-based websiterecently went live only a few weeks ago, andisalready generating excellent press, including a front page article on wired.com and the Boston Herald Business section.

Thousands of hits are recorded daily from viewers around the world(see Alexa.com) and user feedback isvery possitive.
