Czech Airlines
opened a modern airport lounge, the Crystal Lounge, in the new Terminal North 2 at Ruzyn Airport.The lounge, covering almost 500m squared, will provide comfortable facilities and quality services for approximately 500 passengers a day.

The Czech Airlines airport lounge is meant for CSA Business Class passengers, as well as passengers of SkyTeam partners and CSA contractual partners; and also for CSA OK Plus Frequent Flyer Programme Silver or Gold card holders and SkyTeam partner programmes card holders or VIP passengers. The Crystal Lounge is the second CSA lounge at Prague Ruzyn Airport; the lounge in Terminal North 1 went through a complete reconstruction in May 2004.

“The opening of our second airport lounge with its extremely comfortable interior and quality services is designed to meet the needs of our business clients who have come to expect higher and higher standards of all our services. I believe that the new, original design of the Crystal Lounge will draw deserved attention and its facilities will allow our passengers to relax prior their departures,” said CSA Vice-president for Ground Operations, Ji’ Pos.

The new 500m squared lounge is on the 2nd floor of the transit area of the newly opened Terminal North 2 at Prague Airport. Opening hours correspond to the Czech Airlines flight schedule. The original design elements of the renowned Czech designer, Bo_ek _’pek, especially decorative glass items - lights, tables and coloured vases, give a special flavour to the interior. Fresh flowers are provided daily.  All the furniture, including the chairs and sofas, is in the CSA corporate colours - red, blue and silver.

There are three separate areas in the lounge: relaxation, café and conference zone. While waiting for their flights, passengers can relax in comfortable, spacious armchairs and take advantage of privacy in the relaxation zone. Eight computer stations with the Internet facilities, 19 connections for lap-tops and WI-FI are also available.

Refreshments served in the lounge depend on the time of the day and include fresh bakery products, vegetable and fruit salads and open sandwiches. In order to provide maximum comfort for waiting passengers, a shower and other facilities for personal hygiene are also available. A separate smaller VIP lounge offering complete privacy, including refreshment and personal hygiene facilities is also available.
