BVI rebrands with website launch

The British Virgin Islands is launching its new branding and a uk website portal dedicated to uk visitors to coincide with the launch of

The initiative, which was launched at CHA marketplace, is part of a global review of the BVI’s brand image and web presence, aimed to make the destination more accessible to a wider audience.

The new logo, which is a blue wave mark, was created to encourage personal interpretation and aims to capture a sense of the destinaion’s islands as well as its attraction for sailing and water sports.

According to the Chairman of the BVI’s tourist board, Russel Harrigan, “This new branding brings a refreshed look and identity to coincide with a raft of marketing initiatives being launched both is the US and in Europe. We are confident our new image will contribute significantly to increased awareness s for the BVI”.

The website, which will include in depth information on the the destination, will feature links to special operators as well as consumer promotions and competitions.
