VRX has signed an agreement with the Cendant, to photograph an additional 4,500 hotels in 2006. VRX will cover Cendant’s Super 8, Days Inn, Ramada, and Wingate Inn brands in the United States.This phase of the Agreement, covering 4,500 US hotel properties, builds upon two earlier phases in which VRX completed photographic coverage of approximately 630 Howard Johnson and Travelodge hotels in 2005.
At the completion of this third phase, VRX will have covered virtually all of Cendant Hotel Group’s domestic US hotel properties, representing roughly 10% of the total US domestic hotel supply.
Under the Agreement, VRX will photograph a variety of the amenities, facilities, and room types offered by each hotel. The corresponding photographs will be used on each of the hotel brand’s websites as well as in their offline advertising and marketing materials. VRX expects to deliver the content of all 4,500 hotels by the end of 2006.
