WhereToStay.com on the up

4th Jan 2006

Since launching its online sign-up feature in October 2005, WhereToStay.com - the travel resource for all consumers searching for a hotel for their next holiday - has reported a 27% increase in hotel company membership. The online enrollment option was launched three months ago in
an effort to offer every hotel, resort and villa around the world quick and easy access to feature placement on WhereToStay.com.

Currently, WhereToStay.com features more than 55,000 properties from across the globe on its site for travellers to review and book holidays.
“The online sign-up feature has proved extremely successful as we continue to expand our membership to include our expansive list of worldwide vacation venues,” said Thom Dunaway, founder and president of WhereToStay.com.

“We are very pleased with our increase in membership and expect it to continue to grow at a rapid rate as more and more hotels and resorts realise the tremendous value of being featured on WhereToStay.com.”
WhereToStay.com offers three distinct participation levels for hotels and resorts that seek to significantly bolster direct bookings, including: Platinum Membership (US$30/month), Gold Membership ($20/month) and Silver Membership (free-of-charge).
“We are so confident that WhereToStay.com will generate referrals for members that by far offset the cost of membership that we send monthly reports showing how much activity a property had and how many people tried to contact them through our site,” added Dunaway.
