Flight Centre launches radio campaign

Flight Centre is offering customers the chance to win a £10,000 holiday this month that will be promoted in the company’s first ever radio campaign.
All customers who make a flight or holiday booking in January 2006 will be
entered into a prize draw to win a holiday for two people of their choice,
up to a value of £10,000 anywhere on the Virgin Atlantic network.

The promotion will be advertised in store, in press, online and on Virgin
FM. The radio advert will feature the Flight Centre Captain as the voice
over in a bid to increase awareness of the icon used in all of Flight
Centre’s advertising. 

Rob Freedman, head of marketing at Flight Centre said: “We hope this
promotion will further raise our profile in the UK amongst the travelling
public during the key holiday booking period of January as well as giving
our customers the chance to win a fantastic holiday of a lifetime.”

The radio campaign will launch on Virgin FM in London where Flight Centre
has the highest concentration of stores on 9 January and will run for
