US Airways boosts Jamaica service

US Airways is increasing its service to Jamaica, fueling the expected boom of tourist
traffic to Jamaica this winter season.

Beginning December 30, 2005, the airline
will expand its service from Boston and will be introducing new flights from Fort
Lauderdale and Pittsburgh to Montego Bay.

“U.S. Airways new flights provide visitors in several U.S. cities more
convenient travel to Jamaica,”  said Paul Pennicook, Director of Tourism for
Jamaica. “The increased service bodes well for the winter tourist season
which is so far showing to be a strong one.”

Effective December 30, 2005, U.S. Airways will introduce service from Fort
Lauderdale to Montego Bay. Flight #771 will depart daily at 11:05 a.m. and arrive
in Montego Bay at 12:49 p.m. From Jamaica, the returning flight #538 will depart
Montego Bay daily at 2:00 p.m. and arrive in Ft. Lauderdale at 3:31 p.m.

Beginning January 1, 2006, the airline will expand its service from Boston to
Montego Bay by adding a flight on Sundays. Flight #651 will depart Boston at
11:00 a.m. and arrive in Montego Bay at 3:11 p.m. The returning flight #316 will

Pittsburgh to Montego Bay. Flight #109 will depart Pittsburgh at 8:30 a.m. every

The increased airlift from major U.S. markets, as well as the progression of
tourism infrastructure projects, such as new and renovated resorts, will draw more
and more visitors to Jamaica.
