AH&LA accepts seminnar proposals

The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) is accepting seminar proposals for the 91st annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show.The show is to be held November 11-14, 2006, at New York City’s
Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. 

Hospitality industry experts and leaders are encouraged to share their knowledge and insights at this premiere industry event, which is expected to draw more than 35,000 trade professionals. 

The deadline for submitting proposals is February 28, 2006.

Proposed seminars should focus on the changing needs of the hospitality industry,
including lodging, food and beverage, tourism/travel, consumer trends or related
issues. 

Topics of interest include innovative approaches to design, technology,
human resources, hotel operations, and sales and marketing.

Proposals must include the title of the presentation, a short description of its
content and a biography for each speaker. 

Seminars featuring a panel of experts
should be indicated as a panel presentation and include the names and biographies
for each speaker. 

It is requested that seminars are structured to fit into a
90-minute timeframe.
