Airline passengers in North America have recognized LAN Airline’s service as “very good to excellent,” according to the latest results published in Zagat’s latest Airline Survey.
The analysis was based on voting by 5,277 passengers who rated 22 American and 55 international carriers on various factors such as the service, comfort, in-flight food and corporate website.
LAN Airlines was ranked among the best international airlines by survey participants with service rated as “very good to excellent,” while comfort and in-flight meals were voted “good to very good.” LAN’s website also scored a “good” rating for the information and other services it provides to customers.
In its summary of the international airlines, Zagat’s survey results reported that LAN Airlines stands out for its efficiency, pro- service, modern aircraft and lots of amenities, and says, “this very competent Chilean carrier (and oneworld member) has many calling it ‘Latin America’s most reliable airline.” The summary goes on to recognize touches like individual TVs and very good wine, and says that “premium classes can be a real pleasure thanks to personalized attention, good food and reasonably roomy quarters.”
