iBAHN has earned back-to-back honors on both the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and the Inc. 500 list for the second year in a row.iBAHN
placed 123rd on the Deloitte list, which ranks the fastest growing public and private technology companies in the United States, and 253rd on Inc. Magazine’s annual ranking of the 500 fastest growing private companies in North America.
Since its inception in 1998, iBAHN has grown from revenue of $51,000 in 1999 to $92.1 million in 2004, a 482% three-year growth rate. iBAHN attributes much of its success to its ability to help its hotel partners build business and improve guest satisfaction by providing the highest level of secure broadband access available.
“Attracting enough customers to maintain triple-digit growth over five years makes a strong statement about the quality of a company’s product and its leadership,” said Tony Kern, deputy national managing principal of Deloitte’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications industry practice. “iBAHN has shown the right stuff for growth.”
iBAHN’s proprietary service offering is installed in more than 2,200 hotels in North America, with a total of more than 285,000 guest rooms. The company averages 1.1 million connections per month for travelers, and had more connections in the third quarter of 2005 than from 1999 through 2002 combined. Additionally, iBAHN’s secure managed network identifies and blocks more than 400 million potential virus packets.
“Travelers, whether on business and leisure, expect secure high-speed Internet access both to remain productive and to stay in touch with family and colleagues. We appreciate the vote of confidence from our hotel partners who have chosen iBAHN solutions to provide the highest level of secure Internet access through our patented managed network.” said David W. Garrison, iBAHN’s president and chief executive officer. “Our focus for the future is to continue to bring to market unique, value-added services for the hospitality industry.”
