Northwest Web design and development agency Saltmine has won a Davey award for their work on the Web sites for TCS Expeditions. Premier travel company TCS Expeditions received a gold award in the travel category.The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the “Creative Davids”—as in David and Goliath—who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets. Both Web sites were designed to reflect the new strategic directions of their clients and, in Fred Hutchinson’s case, a new brand. Design objectives included an improved user experience and the creation of a distinct online personality. Both sites incorporate Macromedia Flash.
“We are pleased to have been chosen for these awards,” said Roy Matich, Saltmine Creative Director. “And happy that we can share the spotlight with two wonderful clients, TCS Expeditions and Fred Hutch. We do this work because we love it. Winning the award is just a bonus.”
