lastminute.com extends GDS agreement

Amadeusis extended its technology agreement with lastminute.com. Since the website’s early days, Amadeus has provided travel content and booking technology to lastminute.com

Launched in April 1998, lastminute.com is today Europe’s leading online leisure travel retailer, operating in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Scandinavia as well as the UK. The company sold nearly £1.3 billion of travel products and services in the year October 2004 to September 2005.

“Amadeus has supported us through our extraordinary success,” said John Bevan, lastminute.com Holidays Director.  “We are happy to be extending this agreement as we move forward with a multi-GDS strategy involving Amadeus and, increasingly, the system owned by our new parent company.”
