Antigua is catching onto a notion that the Caymans netted years ago offering the opportunity of swimming with stingrays. Participants on the newly-designed educational programme are taken on a short boat trip to Stingray City where they can feed, hold and interact with the fascinating and gentle inhabitants of the ocean.

Swimming with the stingrays at Stingray City costs US$40 (approx £23) per person.

Stingray City has a proven track record in the Caymans and it is hoped a similar success will be felt in Antigua. The trip would be ideal entertainment for one-day cruise visitors.
