Austria to show in Dubai

Austria will be represented with a national pavilion for the first time at a Dubai air show next month, when a group of the country’s biggest aviation specialists will converge in the United Arab Emirates for Dubai 2005, the ninth international aerospace exhibition.
Austria is also expected to field a strong VIP delegation which will include senior Austrian government officials as well as its Ambassador to the UAE and the embassy’s commercial attaché.
Ê
Supported by the Austrian government and the country’s Federal Chamber of Commerce, the Austrian pavilion is one of the 13 national and industry pavilions confirmed for Dubai 2005.
Ê
“This initiative is a result of increasing interest in the Middle East among Austria’s emerging aerospace sector,” said Stefan Kreuzer, General Manager, Castellana Business Development, the Austrian representative of Fairs & Exhibitions, the organiser of the Dubai air show.
Ê
“The Middle East is now becoming key to Austria’s aerospace and aviation sectors because of the opportunities thrown up by massive regional expansion.”
