Public Vote bmibaby as Top No Frills Airline

bmibaby has won the Telegraph Travel Award for Best No Frills Airline for the third consecutive year. The award is voted for by the public.
David Bryon, bmibaby’s managing director, said: “We’re delighted that once again the readers of the Daily Telegraph and other publications in the Telegraph Media Group have voted bmibaby into top spot as Best No Frills Airline. The fact that the Telegraph Travel Awards are voted for by consumers is a great indication that we’re a low cost airline that’s getting it right. This is a real honour for everyone at the bmibaby team who work hard to deliver the high service standards our customers have come to expect.

“We have an aggressive growth plan for the next three years and remain committed to offering low fares with a quality level of service.”

bmibaby is forecast to carry 3.5million passengers on its services throughout 2005. The airline operates over 700 flights every week from five UK bases. The airline recently announced the addition of three extra Boeing 737s to take its total fleet size to 19.
