Azure Increase Caribbean Quota

Specialist tour operator Azure Luxury Hotel Collection is increasing its new 2006 Caribbean Islands programme with the addition of seven new resorts spread across the region.
For the first time Chester-based Azure has produced a stand alone Caribbean brochure and new properties in St Barths, Barbados, St Lucia, Grenada and The Grenadines have been added to the company’s already extensive programme of top luxury resorts.

Amongst the new hotels is Le Sereno, the reincarnation of the much loved Sereno Beach Hotel on St Barths which opens this autumn. Parisian designer Christian Liaigre has been at work on the interiors of the resort’s 38 suites and villas, all of which overlook the ocean and Grand Cul-de-Sac beach, ranked by many as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world. Seven nights at the resort starts from
£2241 per person.

Amongst existing favourites in the new programme , The Sandpiper, sister property to Coral Reef Club on Barbados, has had a major refurbishment and added two new Luxury Plantation Suites complete with their own plunge pools. Spice Island on Grenada has been completely rebuilt after being destroyed by hurricane Ivan last
year. The suites now feature anything from their own private plunge pools and saunas to marble bathrooms and double whirlpool tubs.

Eden Rock on St Barths has a number of new suites and cottages built along the beach from the iconic ‘Rock’. Eden Rock is a Relais & Chateaux property and the 2006 Azure programme features three other members of this prestigious organisation where good food can be guaranteed, Biras Creek in the British Virgin Islands, Cobblers Cove on Barbados and Montpelier Plantation Inn on Nevis.
