Non-Stop Fun at 30,000 Feet

Tired of
endless games of solitaire and airport bookstore romance novels? Now,
traveling to your destination can be as much fun as being there. American
Airlines
and Scene It? The DVD Game are teaming up to add more excitement
to air travel with a series of in-flight trivia challenges based on the
award-winning collection of Scene It? DVD games featuring real clips from
popular movies, TV, music and more.According to survey data from American Airlines, nearly 85 percent of
American’s passengers engage in in-flight entertainment while traveling.
Beginning Oct. 1, American Airlines flights within the United States,
Caribbean, Mexico and Canada will feature Scene It? trivia segments prior to
the in-flight movie.  In addition, Scene It? DVD games will be available in
the “In-flight Theater Kit” on select flights in American’s First and Business
Class cabins.
  “We are pleased to introduce Scene It? trivia as part of American’s
in-flight entertainment offering,” said Mary McKee, American’s Managing
Director, In-flight Products.  “We believe our customers will enjoy testing
their trivia knowledge during their American Airlines flight.  Providing a fun
onboard trivia challenge is just one more innovative way American is enhancing
our customers’ travel experience.”
  “With this new partnership, Scene It?, the most popular brand of DVD
trivia games in the country, offers American Airlines travelers a great way to
experience the game’s visual entertainment in a whole new environment,” said
Carl Weinstein, chief marketing officer of Screenlife LLC, the creator of
Scene It? The DVD Game. “Our ongoing expansion of licensed partners means that
passengers will always have new and exciting in-flight challenges to test
their trivia skills.”
  Entertainment fans can challenge their seatmates to a high-flying game of
trivia featuring Scene It? puzzlers including clips and on-screen trivia
questions from popular movies, TV shows and music such as, “Which actress
played the character ‘Kimmy Wallace’?” or “Name the artist from the song set:
‘Into the Mystic,’ ‘Brown Eyed Girl,’ and ‘Moondance’.”
  Scene It? games are recognized as family friendly with great value and
innovative game play.  The TV edition of Scene It? was named “Game of the
Year” during 2005 Toy Fair in New York City.  Also in 2004, Scene It? garnered
numerous awards, including the Ultimate Toy Award, issued by the American Toy
Press; the 2005 Children’s Choice Award; FamilyFun Magazine’s 13th Annual Toy
of the Year Award; and Parents’ Choice Award.
