New Lifestyle Resource Launches

I.travel is launching a new entertainment property, J3tlag.com. Designed as a valuable lifestyle resource for the modern traveler, J3tlag.com represents an innovative marketing strategy for the brand.
I.travel is aiming to increase brand awareness among their target audience of style-savvy affluent men. I.travel footwear was launched in Spring of 2005 as a fashion-forward men’s line from Rockport, and J3tlag.com represents their most significant post-launch marketing initiative. The J3tlag site offers users an opportunity to connect with the footwear brand, and positions I.travel as an authoritative voice on travel and trends.

The site will feature content on travel, recreation and fashion supplied by a diverse array of highly regarded editors and contributors. Designed to be a one-stop shop for fascinating and useful travel content, J3tlag contributors include Nylon Magazine, events blog Flavorpill.com, JoshSpear.com and Breakingtravelnews.com. The site will also offer visitors opportunities to contribute their own content, reviews and photography.

The site will also be the exclusive home of a collection of limited edition travel-inspired T-Shirts. The T-Shirts are made by local designers representing America’s capital cities of style; New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami, each shirt distilling an iconic element of the city into its design.

“The I.travel brand was inspired by the intersection of fashion and travel,” explained Curtis Charles, Senior Vice President of I.travel footwear. “By creating J3tlag.com, we hope to provide our consumer with a valuable resource, where men can learn about the latest in travel, fashion and design as well as contribute their own ideas.”

J3tlag.com is being launched in conjunction with a number of partner brands that identify with the same image of stylish travel including Tumi, Loews Hotels, and Mobissimo.com. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a special on-line sweepstakes, offering luxury prize packages on J3tlag.com including luggage from Tumi, stays at Loews Hotels and product from I.travel.

“Our partner brands really speak to the potential of this project,” continued Charles. “We’re thrilled to be working with them. They each come from a position of strength in the travel market that complements our fashion-oriented image.”
