The Riviera Maya is pleased to announce that the destination has received the coveted Crystal Apple Award for Best Destination by Apple Vacations for 2005.
The announcement was made September 13, 2005 during the opening ceremony of the annual Midwest Trade Show at the Drury Lane Theater in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Hundreds of travel agents were in attendance as Mr. Dario Flota
Ocampo, General Manager of the Riviera Maya Tourism Board, accepted the award.
