Couples Resorts has recently acquired the Sans Souci Resort & Spa, located at White River, St. Mary, Jamaica and announced that the highly respected Sans Souci’s General Manager, Pierre Paul Battaglia, will continue his tenure at the resort known as the “Jewel of Jamaica.”  Couples Resorts will add the resort to its already existing trio of Couples Swept Away, Couples Negril and Couples Ocho Rios.Pierre has managed the 148 room, Sans Souci Resort & Spa since 2003 and is responsible for the entire operation. Pierre’s style of management is very “hands-on” and “pro-active”, having established new concepts for the restaurants and initiated special emphasis in sales and marketing as he traveled worldwide to promote the resort. Considered a people person by his peers, Pierre is also very active in the Human Resources Department, emphasizing staff development.
