Flybe has announced the early launch of its summer programme for 2006, with 725,000 seats on 30 routes going on sale from today as a result of strong consumer demand for sun destinations over the summer 2005 period.
New routes for summer 2006 include routes from Norwich to Murcia and Faro and from Southampton to Palma, a key new link to the popular summer sun destination of Majorca. Flybe are also today launching a new domestic route for summer 2006 linking Guernsey to Norwich.

Flybe’s combination of new European routes, increased frequencies and convenient local airports has resulted in significant increases in Flybe passengers during the summer period this year.  August has seen a significant 28% growth in Flybe passenger numbers on last year, a trend which is expected to continue in summer 2006. 

The increasing demand for flights sees Flybe launching its summer routes ahead of schedule to allow customers to take advantage of their low fares to a range of popular destinations in Spain, Portugal and the Channel Islands.
