L’alianXa Travel Selects Amadeus

Amadeus, a global leader in technology and distribution
solutions for the travel and tourism industry, announce the signing of a 10-year
partnership with L’alianXa Travel Network, Latin America’s leading international
travel agency consortium. This agreement spans ground-breaking projects in the field
of technology, the provision of consultancy services and support for growth in local
markets, amongst other aspects.“One of the reasons we have selected Amadeus is their strength and reliability as a
technology and business partner”, said Alonso Monsalve, President of L’alianXa.
“This agreement takes us to the forefront of this industry in terms of the IT
solutions and services we will offer to our 75 travel agencies, in 230 locations
across 17 countries in the region. This long-term cooperation with Amadeus will also
help realise our expansion plans in the region and will enhance greatly support on
the ground “.

This agreement also includes the provision of state-of-the-art services. Amadeus
will be design and implement an end-to-end, customised sales platform for L’alianXa
partners in the Americas. A team of experts from Amadeus and L’alianXa are also
developing an e-commerce platform to tap into the business potential of the online
channel.

will include the setting up of an integrated and customised sales platform for its
regional partners. These projects will enhance the productivity of travel
professionals, who will have more time to concentrate on sales and customer

This agreement is the first milestone of a new business model Amadeus is offering to
its clients in Latin America and which will bring significant benefits to travel
agencies across the board.
