In response to the recent tragic aircraft crash that took place in Venezuela the Caribbean Tourism Organisation has released a statement regarding the accident.The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life in the crash of the West Caribbean Air flight in Venezuela on August 16.

All 152 passengers were from Martinique, an invaluable member of the CTO.

With a population of fewer than 450,000 people, this tragedy will undoubtedly touch every national in Martinique. The entire CTO family is deeply touched by this horrible disaster as well.

We offer our sincerest condolences to the families of all of those who so tragically lost their lives in the crash and to those who are grieving their loss.
