Technology Reduces Booking Times for Youth Travel Market

19th Aug 2005

Multicom’s FindAndBook system is now powering the booking engine on Thomas Cook’s new Club 18-30 website,, designed by Saatchi & Saatchi X.
Through the use of Multicom’s FindAndBook technology, Club 18-30 is forecasting a 10 per cent increase in incremental business from online bookings by this time next year.

Using the FindAndBook interface, Multicom incorporates an online holiday search and booking functionality into the website. In addition, a unique ‘trade login’ function enables travel agents to access an exclusive area of the website using their ABTA number and password. From here, agents can make commissionable bookings direct with Club 18-30 online.

Stephen Vaughan, Head of Worldwide Sales for Club 18-30, says of the website ” Multicom’s FindandBook function provided us with a one-stop booking solution that enables our customers the ultimate in flexibility, so they can enjoy the Club 18-30 experience for any duration they choose and from any departure point - a massive plus for Club 18-30, the trade and the consumer.”

Rob Howell (pictured), Multicom managing director says: “The Club 18-30 website is one of our biggest accomplishments. Working alongside Saatchi & Saatchi X on behalf of Thomas Cook and Club 18-30, we created a functional website that will see agent, customer search and booking times significantly reduced.”
