Distinguished Hotels Builds Brand Awareness

To build brand recognition among travel agents and reservationists, Distinguished Hotels International has launched the private-label code ‘DH’ in partnership with Pegasus Solutions.
Distinguished Hotels now has its own GDS identity with the private-label chain code DH on Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo and Worldspan where travel agents and reservationists can easily access the individual hotels in this luxury global group.

Overall, this initiative allows Distinguished Hotels to promote and market the DH GDS chain code to key bookers, providing more exposure and reservations; develop a stronger brand recognition among the travel industry community; focus marketing and sales efforts on driving reservations to member hotels; and build new relationships with key bookers for a unique global portfolio of independent lifestyle hotels.

“This new code clearly identifies our properties through GDS and Internet sites, thereby simplifying the recognition and booking process for agents and generating sales opportunities for our hotels,” said David Moth, executive vice president of Distinguished Hotels International.  “Furthermore, the properties in our group significantly benefit from our efforts to build awareness of the Distinguished Hotels brand and level the playing field with our competitors,” Moth added.
