John Q. Hammons Celebrates Opening

Mr. John Q. Hammons recently announced the opening of his new Embassy Suites Hotel in St. Charles, Mo., during a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring remarks by St. Louis Mayor Patti York. Representing the first upscale hotel in the area and the largest hotel in St. Charles, the 12-story, 296-suite property offers 5,200 square feet of meeting space to complement the 150,000 square feet of space in the adjoining St. Charles Convention Center. The all-suite, luxury hotel is owned by Mr. Hammons, and the hotel and conference center are managed by Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, LLC, the nation’s leading independent builder, developer, owner and manager of upscale, full-service hotels, resorts and suites.
Conveniently located off of U.S. Interstate 70 on Two Convention Center Plaza, the new property is situated in close proximity to St. Charles’ historic Main Street and offers easy access to the St. Louis - Lambert Field International Airport and Metrolink - St. Louis Light Rail Station. Local attractions include the Katy Trail, a 185-mile hiking and biking trail that begins in St. Charles, as well as powerboats and casinos.
