Travelocity Partner Network is now the sole supplier of hotel content for Continental Airlines’ Web site, continental.com. The arrangement also builds upon Travelocity Partner Network’s rich technology platform and deep experience in distributing travel content and providing industry leading deals through online channels that include AARP, American Express, AOL, Yahoo! and other airlines.
“Continental Airlines provides a valuable distribution channel for our net-rate hotel program and we are very pleased to enhance our long-standing relationship with their team,” said Richard Harris, vice president of strategy and business development at Travelocity. “By utilizing Travelocity’s access to expansive hotel supplier content, we are able to provide Continental’s loyal customer base with one of the most comprehensive and affordable hotel offerings available in the market today.”
Hotel content provided through Travelocity to Continental Airlines will feature Travelocity’s complete hotel program offering, including guaranteed low-priced “Good Buy” rates and access to Travelocity’s net-rate hotel program.
“We have worked with Travelocity for several years and have always been satisfied and confident in the products that the Travelocity Partner Network provides our customers,” said John Slater, managing director distribution & e-commerce at Continental. “The Travelocity network has the ability to secure differentiated hotel rates that we feel will provide our customers on continental.com some of the best deals in the travel industry.”
