Denver Airline Seeks Acapulco Service

Frontier Airlines today announced that it has filed an application with the U.S.
Department of Transportation (DOT) for authorization to expand its Mexico
service by offering non-stop service to Acapulco (ACA) from its Denver hub
with seasonal operation of as many as two flights per week.  Service is
planned to begin in December 2005.  Acapulco would represent Frontier’s
seventh Mexican destination from Denver.  Frontier already provides service to
Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo
(seasonal), and flights to Cozumel commence December 17th.“Frontier’s new relationship with Apple Vacations and its growing strength
in the Mexico market made Acapulco our next logical destination,” said Joe
Cambron, Director of Planning and Scheduling.  “In addition, the support of
the Acapulco community has been instrumental in encouraging us to pursue this
service.”
