The Jamaica Tourist Board yesterday announced the appointment of Zoe Bennett as its regional Sales Representative in the North of England, who will be based in Manchester. The appointment is effective immediately.

Reporting directly to newly promoted Torrance Lewis, (District Sales
Manager), Ms Bennett’s role will primarily be promoting Jamaica’s tourism product to retail travel agents and tour operator reservation centres.

She will work closely with the London sales team as well as the hotels and attractions within Jamaica, in order to disseminate the latest tourist
information to the travel industry.

Commenting on the appointment Elizabeth Fox, Regional Director UK/Europe at the Jamaica Tourist Board said:

“We are delighted to welcome Zoe to the team, and her appointment comes at a significant time for the Jamaica Tourist Board as it celebrates its 50th Anniversary, and is strengthening its efforts on growing our business out of the UK. Zoe’s expertise is ideal and will also help spearhead our reinforced focus on this important market with the goal of positioning Jamaica as the preferred Caribbean destination of the travel trade in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland.”
