The Hotel Group announces the purchase of the Hilton Suites Brentwood, a 203-room, full-service, all-suite hotel eight miles south of Nashville, Tenn. The hotel was purchased from Hilton Hotels Corporation for $6.5 million.

The four-story Brentwood Hilton is located at 9000 Overlook Drive, in Brentwood. Each 550-square foot suite features a living and bedroom, with a sofa sleeper and two televisions, and an oversized bathroom. The hotel features meeting space, indoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, and sauna, in addition to a restaurant and bar in the atrium lobby.

“The Hilton Suites Brentwood is a great example of our aggressive acquisition strategy with The Hotel Group’s Opportunity Funds,” said Doug Dreher, president of The Hotel Group. “This acquisition represents the fifth asset—the second this year—purchased through the Opportunity Fund. We invest a great deal in each property we acquire in order to have it perform at the highest possible level for our guests and our investors.”

The hotel will remain part of the Hilton family and will undergo a $3.5 million renovation, which will include the renovation and redesign of all public spaces, including the lobby, hallways and grounds, a new restaurant and lounge concept, and the addition of complementary wireless Internet access. The rooms will be refurbished as well, including all furnishing and soft goods. Two floors will be converted to Hilton HHonors floors including the addition of a new concierge lounge.

“The Hilton Suites Brentwood is where I began my career in the hotel industry and remains close to my heart,” said Lara Latture, vice president of The Hotel Group, who 11 years ago served as corporate sales manager at the hotel. “Our vision is to take this hotel to the next level, making this the preferred hotel in the region.”
