ExpressJet Holdings today
announced the election of director George R. Bravante, Jr., an independent
member of the Company’s Board of Directors, as non-executive Chairman of
the Board. As previously announced, former Chairman Thomas E. Schick will
resign from the Board effective July 1. “During its first years as a public company, Tom provided excellent
insight and guidance helping position ExpressJet for future success,” said
ExpressJet President and CEO Jim Ream. “We wish him well as he retires to
spend time with his family.”

Mr. Bravante, who has served as a director on the Board since July 2004,
is the founder and General Partner of Bravante-Curci Investors, LP, a
merchant bank focusing on real estate investments in Calif. He has held
this position since 1996. Prior to founding Bravante-Curci, Mr. Bravante
held positions with Colony Advisors, Inc. and American Real Estate Group,
Inc. “We welcome George’s leadership as Chairman. His diverse business
experience and acumen will be a resource as we continue to develop
ExpressJet’s strategy,” said Jim Ream.
