America West Teams Up With Cranium

America West Airlines today announced a one-of-a-kind
partnership with Cranium, Inc., creator of the fastest-selling independent
board game in history. This unique partnership offers passengers fun and
innovative in-flight games on America West’s video-equipped aircraft (All
Airbus and Boeing 757 aircraft) reaching approximately 1.4 million America
West customers each month. “We’re excited to welcome Cranium aboard, which will provide customers
another fresh, innovative entertainment option during their America West
flight,” said Travis Christ, vice president, marketing. “Our partnership
with Cranium is yet another way that America West upgrades our customer’s
low-fare experience with low fares and full service.”

The hour-long video format, launching June 1, will feature game activities
such as word scrambles, puzzles, factoids and code crackers, which come
from Cranium’s family board games: Cranium, Cranium Turbo and Cadoo. The
program will be updated with new content each month.

“Cranium has brought laughter and memorable moments into the living rooms
of so many families around the world,” said Richard Tait, Cranium’s Grand
Poo-Bah. “But why should people on the ground have all the fun? The
Cranium games featured on America West flights make travel time
outrageously fun and give everyone a chance to shine.”
