The company just added another hotel to its portfolio as it was chosen to manage the 132-room Clarion Inn & Suites Albany Airport in Latham, NY. The addition of this management contract brings the Connecticut-based hotel management firm’s portfolio to 28 properties in 10 states. “We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with Choice Hotels and we look forward to operating a Clarion Inn & Suites,” said Terry Bickhardt, president and coo, operations and marketing for Waterford Hotel Group. “Our significant amount of property management experience will be utilized to make this property even more successful. The Clarion Inn & Suites Albany, owned by Ramsons One, Inc., is located only two miles away from the Albany International Airport. Guests can also enjoy room service from the hotel’s onsite dining establishment, Bennigan’s Restaurant. The hotel’s Clarion Class Business Room features a larger work desk with data ports, a two-line telephone, enhanced lighting, free in-room coffee, compact refrigerator, a 32-inch remote-controlled TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
