CTO Appoint VoX International Inc to Represent CTO in Canada

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) has appointed VoX International Inc., to represent CTO and its member countries in Canada. The appointment took effect April 1, 2005.
VoX, a Toronto based full-service representation company, will be responsible for the marketing, public relations, sales activities and general representative services in all provinces of Canada for the CTO.

“We are very pleased to have selected VoX to look after our members’ interests in Canada”, remarks Hugh Riley, the CTO’s director of marketing in the Americas.

“VoX’s experience within the travel industry and their in-depth knowledge of the Caribbean will provide us with the profile and leadership needed to increase the Caribbean’s share of this important market,” Riley added.

One of the primary responsibilities of VoX will be to assist in positioning the Caribbean in Canada as the world’s premier warm weather tourism destination. Part of that assignment will involve restructuring the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Canadian sales units, known as CTO Chapters.

VoX International Inc. is headed by Susan Webb, a senior executive with over 20 years experience in the travel industry. VoX, incorporated in 2002, has its head office in Toronto and a sales office in Vancouver.

The VoX management team includes well known industry personnel Clive Farmer, Barbra Newton and Gerlinde Perera, as well as sales, public relations, marketing and creative personnel assigned to the
CTO account.
