BOOKIT Expanding in North America

Bay Ferries has chosen the BOOKIT reservation system for the Rochester-Toronto service.

The system is to be introduced at the beginning of the summer on the Rochester-Toronto service between the USA and Canada. Bay Ferries already uses BOOKIT on two other routes and the company is very pleased with the product.

“The system is functional and we can rely on it being maintained and developed for long-term use. It’s easy to use the system to put various kinds of package solutions together for customers and it’s equally easy to sell tickets at current prices,” says Danny Bartlett, VP Finance at Bay Ferries.

Another important reason for choosing BOOKIT is that the system is in compliance with the new APIS security regulations. These regulations have been introduced so that the American authorities can check up on passengers entering the USA.

“We know that BOOKIT and Hogia Ferry Systems can meet the APIS requirements. That’s why it was natural for us to choose them,” says Bartlett.
