MacNair Travel Reduce Corporate Fares by 18%

MacNair Travel Management’s corporate travel online booking tool, MacNairport, is reducing client’s air, hotel, and car rental costs by more than 18 percent and transaction fees by 25 percent.
MacNairport users have more airfare options than the major consumer web sites (such as Expedia) and low cost carrier sites (such as Southwest Airline’s SWABIZ), according to Michael MacNair, President & CEO of MacNair Travel Management. Since clients will see more airline ticketing options and Web sites in one source, they will save booking time and have access to the best overall pricing options. They will also have the active assistance of the local MacNair team to support these reservations around the clock.

He said. “MacNairport’s latest upgrade also allows clients to enjoy menu-based pricing as well as the ability to customize nearly every available function.”

One new addition to MacNairport is that company travel managers have online authorization capabilities. “A travel manager can approve any purchases made by those in the organization, and has access to documentation of employee travel arrangements,” MacNair says.

Additional elements include an automated internal meeting planning function where travel managers can coordinate an event and invite attendees to register, reserve their hotel room, and arrange transportation all in one site, according to MacNair.
