Protea Hospitality Corporation has initiated deployment of MICROS’s OPERA Enterprise Solution. Protea Hotels will pilot the implementation process in several properties.The MICROS OPERA Enterprise Solution will enable centralized guest profiling, allowing the group to become more guest focused and therefore practice true Customer Relationship Marketing.
In addition, inventory will be centralized enabling a real- time view of the inventory status. “This in essence will enhance room management and, of course, aid in optimizing revenue,” explained Bryan Mulliner, Group Revenue Manager. “We expect to implement this new system within the majority of our properties by the end of 2006.”
