By Ben KilbeyCasa Marina Bay, a member of the Amsha Marina Hotels & Resorts chain, has finalised its US $3 million dollar expansion. The property is located in the Las Galeras region of Samana in the Dominican Republic. Upgrades include the appointment of an additional 84 rooms taking the total room-count to 284. There has also been extensive remodeling of 50 bungalow s as well as the lobby area and the pool.

For the beach lover a new beach club has been added inclusive of two new restaurants, Sea Scape, and Michelangelo, an Italian a la carte restaurant. The main buffet restaurant, Aserrado, has been expanded to accommodate 300 guests.

To cap the renovations the property was given a complete paint job in vibrant Caribbean colours.
