Best Western Offers ‘Baseball Rate’

Best Western has the bases covered this
season with a special offer for West Coast minor league baseball fans. From April 7 through September 15, followers of America’s favorite pastime
can save up to 25 percent each time they request the special “Baseball
Rate” at Best Western hotels in California, Nevada and Hawaii. With
each qualified stay, guests will also receive a limited edition bobblehead
doll of one of today’s major league stars in his former minor league
uniform. A different bobblehead in the five-doll collectible series will be
featured approximately every four weeks. Leading off the lineup is Las
Vegas 51 alum and current Los Angeles Dodgers Relief Pitcher Eric Gagne (pictured),
whose likeness will be available to guests from April 7-May 15. The Rancho
Cucamonga Quakes’ K-Rod, Francisco Rodriguez—now pitching for the Los
Angeles Angels of Anaheim—is up next from May 16-June 15. In the third
spot from June 16-July 15 is the former Inland Empire Stampede’s (now
Sixty-Sixers’) Adrian Beltre, currently a third baseman for the Seattle
Mariners. At cleanup from July 16-August 15 is former San Jose Giant Keith
Foulke, now pitching for the World Champion Boston Red Sox. Rounding out
the lineup from August 16-September 15 is Sacramento RiverCat southpaw
Barry Zito, currently on the mound for the Oakland A’s.

“With nearly 340 properties throughout the region, Best Western offers
minor league baseball fans the quality and value thousands of guests have
come to expect every night from the world’s largest hotel chain,” said Ben
Chaney, Best Western field marketing manager overseeing the company’s
California, Nevada and Hawaii cooperative marketing efforts. “Whether
traveling for business or leisure, they can now indulge their love of the
game throughout the season with our new ‘Baseball Rate’ and limited
edition keepsake bobblehead collection.”
