BSI Scoops Second Award

BSI has won the Diamond Award top prize at the Best Western Annual Awards in recognition of the level of business produced across the hotel chain’s 300 hotels.  Beating off competition from twenty other partner agencies, BSI was presented with its award at a dinner held at the Best Western Yew Lodge Hotel and Conference Centre.
The award is the second accolade for BSI in as many months, following BSI’s ‘Highly Commended’ award at the Business Travel World Awards in January.
Charles Cockell, BSI group managing director commented: “We are committed to developing a tripartite relationship in the procurement supply chain to ensure effective preferred accommodation programmes for our clients.  With more than 20 years’ experience, we have achieved the specialist expertise that delivers comprehensive and structured procurement techniques. These lead the industry for providing hotel and meetings needs. This latest award is a testament to how good communications and working practice can benefit the customer / intermediary / supplier partnership. Customers know they are achieving their cost saving objectives and our hotel partner can count on consistently high sales.”
Gavin Percy, director of sales at Best Western Hotels commented: “As this award demonstrates, our partnership with BSI has been very successful.  BSI has developed an intelligent system that has proved very attractive to its customers, and we are very pleased to support this.  Long may our relationship continue.”
