10Best Solutions has opened a European office and is actively promoting its e-commerce solutions to travel and tourism businesses in the region.
Having established a strong client base in North America, 10Best is aggressively moving into the European market and promoting its e-commerce solutions business to European travel and tourism companies. The company recently opened an office in Utrecht, The Netherlands, from which it provides business development, marketing, and project management for the European region.
10Best was one of the early players in travel-related e-commerce, with destination content covering more than 450 cities worldwide, its own online travel site (www.10best.com), and mobile city guide applications running on all major US mobile phone networks. 10Best provides a wide range of content and technology solutions to customers like Carlson Companies, InterContinental Hotels Group, Priceline.com, and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, to name a few. 10Best is now investing in expanding its European customer base.
“Over the past two years we have seen a transformation of how travel products are sold, and the Internet is undoubtedly a critical component of any yield management strategy,” said Brice Bay, 10Best’s CEO. “The key is to build an effective website around your product and combine that with a robust strategy for Search Engine Optimization. Once you get a user on your site, you have to make sure that they stay and convert to a sale. We have developed literally hundreds of features and tools to help our customers achieve more traffic and increased online bookings.”
10Best has a number of key product areas aimed at helping increase “look-to-book” ratios on travel websites. The flagship product is the Virtual Concierge, an interactive destination guide, complete with proximity search, mapping, local weather, and a host of other features. 10Best develops its own unbiased content based on a simple formula - the “10 best” of various categories that are of interest to the leisure or business traveler. The company also has solutions for confirmation emails, franchise websites, landing pages, trip planners, and interactive maps, among others.
Europe is an excellent opportunity for 10Best. “Our experience in the US gives us considerable credibility when talking to potential clients here in Europe,” said Marc Bolick, VP of European Business Development. “The timing is right for us. We now have the resources to support a presence in the market at the same time that the European online travel market is heating up. We look forward to forging some lasting partnerships, bringing our experience to the table, and growing with the enormous market here.”
