Ready, Set, Crunch with Marriott

It’s crunch time and not
just for LA Marathon runners. March is here and the race is on to shed
those last few pounds before spring. With this week’s final delivery of
complimentary in-room fitness by Marriott, guests can now choose from a
variety of ‘Fit For You’ options that best suit their dietary needs and
workout style. “Our goal with the ‘Great Health—Fit For You’ program is to create an a
la carte menu of health and fitness. Guests can pick and choose where they
want to work out, how they want to work out and the food they want to
accompany their program,” said Nusrat Mirza, director of operations,
Marriott International, Inc. “Gen X, Baby Boomers, overweight or
physically fit—we have something for everyone, from the restaurant to
the guest room.”

With a touch of a button, guests can have one of three new fitness
workouts delivered to their room: the Body Rev, the Bodywedge21 and
Michael Sena’s Traveling Trainer Kit. Created by former Navy Seal and
trainer Alden Mills, the BodyRev is a portable exercise device with an
accompanying video that delivers a full-body aerobic and strength training
workout in 15 minutes. Also available is the Traveling Trainer Kit,
designed by fitness guru Michael Sena. It includes fitness club-style
resistance tubes and an easy-to-follow instructional guide to improve
strength, balance and energy. The third option is the Bodywedge21, which
offers an inclined foam wedge imprinted with 21 different exercises to
target abs, buttocks, thighs, triceps, chest and lower back.

Additional ‘Great Health - Fit For You’ options include: * 24-hour fitness
facilities, open seven days a week, available at all Marriott and
